Word is that the Anchors at KOLD are being told they need to start practicing how to roll their own teleprompter.

It seems that the Raycom station thinks that the minimum wage prompter operator is a luxury and it is time for the Anchors to do it themselves.

When one Tucson Anchor questioned management, they were told that Raycom’s WOIO in Cleveland is doing the same thing.

A check on WOIO shows that is not the case, but we are betting that it will be soon.
