A Good Sport
WKYC Sports Anchor Dave Chudowsky is getting up much earlier and he has traded his sports hat for a news hat.
Chudowsky started his new gig alongside co-anchor Maureen Kyle, meteorologist Hollie Strano and traffic reporter Danielle Wiggins bright and early on Monday.
The announcement wasn’t a total surprise-- the station teased the addition of a new anchor on social media on Friday with a silouhette of a man keen viewers identified as Chudowsky.
Prior to joining the station in 2007, he worked as a sports reporter at Ohio News Network in Columbus and WTVG in Toledo. WKYC says Chud will co-anchor the morning show for at least two months with the possibility of getting the job on a permanent basis.
While Chodowsky is busy in the mornings, Al Pawlowski will take over sports anchoring duties in the evenings and on weekends.
Chudowsky replaces John Anderson, who left the station earlier this month.
