Tegna owned WGRZ in Buffalo is moving the former sports guy, who turned to news, back to sports. 

And the former news guy, that turned to sports is headed back to news.

The station is moving back Adam Benigni (pictured) to the Sports Director job. It's the same job he held from 2013-2017.

But, when the main News Anchor signed off, Benigni moved over to news and hoped to land the main anchor gig.

But then the anchor that left came back and now Benigni is moving back to his sports gig. 

Pete Gallivan was a news Anchor, but he left the station to become a political flack. But, then Gallivan returned to the station working in sports. 

Now, he is going back to his old job in news and will anchor the station's morning show. Gallivan will replace John Beard, who said that he was leaving, but then did not leave, but is now really leaving this time (we think).
