Yesterday, Nexstar CEO Perry Sook held a town hall meeting with the company. 

Sook was at WCMH, but the event was streamed to all the Nexstar stations. Those that watched said that for doing "live TV", Sook did a good job with a couple of stumbles. 

The big news for employees? They are all going to get a $500 bonus. 

While no one is going to sneeze at a free $500, it was not lost on employees that Sinclair and NBC each gave their staff $1000 bonus. 

Even when it comes out to handing out bonuses, Nexstar lives up to its cheap reputation. 

Some of the staff tell FTVLive they plane to use the extra money to buy a personal phone. You know, one that the company can't get their prying eyes on.
