News Director Finds Photog's Stolen Car
Now that's a News Director that's "looking out for you."
KGET (Bakersfield) Photographer Lee Ortlieb had his personal car stolen. Ortlieb reported it to the sheriff's department, posted pictures of the car on social media and did anything he could to spread the word.
But it was his boss, News Director Michael Trihey that found the car. Trihey spotted the car thief driving Ortlieb's car and confronted the punk in a parking lot.
Trihey's wife captured the interaction in the Valley Plaza Mall parking structure. Trihey called 9-1-1 and the man took off.
Ortlieb got the car back, but no arrests have been made.
