It seems that when cable news channels don't like the action of some politician on their side they have a simple solution. 

Just change their affiliation. 

CNN made longtime United States Senator Dianne Feinstein a Republican. 

Not sure how many people bought it, but if they're watching CNN, I'm thinking it was a lot.
