The Bride of Frankenstein
After months and months of waiting, Megyn Kelly finally hit the air with her morning show on NBC.
"Megyn Kelly Today" (how original) went on the air Monday morning and it showed that Kelly has a long way to go to make a go of it in the morning.
The debut was like watching a network try to assemble its own Bride of Frankenstein, using parts of Ellen DeGeneres, Kelly Ripa and whatever else it can find," said the Washington Post.
"NBC clearly does not know what to do with Kelly..." said Variety .
The show kicked off with Kelly biking to work with Al Roker. This was NBC's effort to show that Roker has no hard feelings against Kelly for pushing Tamaron Hall out the door. Of course, it was contrived B.S. that not many viewers likely bought into.
NBC is hoping that somehow they can get viewers to warm up and start watching Megyn Kelly on the Today Show.
Judging by the first episode, they have a long way to go.
