Many people in the Miami viewing area lost power as Hurricane Irma came ashore. That meant, if they wanted to "watch" TV news, they had to do so on the radio.

Miami stations have agreements with local radio stations to broadcast their signal during storms.

A couple of radio stations did not pick up WTVJ's feed and Meteorologist John Morales called them out on the air. 

Then the Anchor says they are back on the radio and you can hear Morales off camera saying "Fuck em".
