Well, Really that is $56,400

Yesterday, FTVLive told you that Raycom owned KCBD (Lubbock, TX) was holding a telethon for the Hurricane Harvey relief.

But they figured while they were bringing in some money for storm victims, why not make a few bucks themselves?

The station was asking for sponsors for the telethon to pay $4300, which KCBD would pocket about 40% of the cash for themselves. The rest would go to the relief effort.

Word is that two advertisers paid the $4300 bucks, which means KCBD was able to pocket $3600 for themselves.

Someone questioned KCBD about this practice on their Facebook page, by linking to the FTVLive story. The station deleted the comment.

But, now on their Facebook page, they have this:

Technically it's $56,400...you know minus the $1800 bucks they kept for themselves.
