Yesterday, WTVT (Tampa) Anchor/Reporter Jennifer Epstein opened up to tell a story about her and her battle with an eating disorder. 

Epstein went on social media to say that her eating disorder got so bad, she turned to alcohol and other substances to numb the pain. She finally turned to professional help and now has shared the story. 

It is awesome one a successful person shows that on that road to success, everyone encounters some bumps.

But, what we're not sure of, is why didn't she wait to ratings to tell the story?
