KVOA main Anchor Kristi Tedesco is leaving the station to....say it with me..... spend more time with her family. 

Tedesco has been with the station since 2004 and along with anchoring the main shows, she also did the weekly segment Kristi's Kids reports. 

According to an internal memo sent to the staff and obtained by FTVLive, Tedesco is getting out of TV news. 

Here's the internal memo: 

“It is with mixed emotions that I announce that Kristi Tedesco will be leaving KVOA to pursue a position outside of broadcasting, giving her more time with her two great kids.

Kristi has been a huge asset to our television station for over 12 years and a wonderful advocate for Arizona children.

I can’t count the number of car seats, school supplies, swim lessons or pool fences that Kristi has put in the hands of Arizona families in need through Kristi’s Kids campaigns.

She has made a monumental difference in this community and the lives of Southern Arizona children are better because of her dedication and hard work.We will greatly miss her.

Please join me in wishing Kristi well in her future endeavors.

Her last day will be August 4th.
