Back in The Biz
FTVLive has reported a lot lately about people leaving the TV business to go into PR, sell cars and even to sell furniture.
Well, here's a story on someone getting back into the business.
Veteran newscaster Paul Petitte is back on camera these days after several years working in health care communications.
Petitte started last week as a reporter and weekday co-anchor of “News Sunrise” for KHBS/KHOG-TV in Fort Smith and northwest Arkansas. Beyond morning appearances with Yuna Lee and meteorologist Laura Huckabee, he will contribute reporting on all of the stations’ news platforms, according to a press release.
He was an anchor and reporter for seven years at KSNW-TV in Wichita, Kansas, and was an anchor and managing editor at WSJV-TV in South Bend, Indiana. Other stops include WESH-TV in Orlando, Florida, which like KHBS/KHOG is owned by Hearst Television.
“Paul’s anchoring and field reporting experience are a perfect fit for our team,” News Director Colleen Clement said, praising Petitte’s versatility and her team’s commitment “to thoroughly cover the entire market.
