Earlier this month, FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you at KDVR News Director Holly Gauntt was leaving the Tribune (soon to be Sinclair) station and headed across the street with KMGH.

We also told you that the Managing Editor at KDVR would also be leaving the station to join Gauntt over at KMGH.

Sources tell FTVLive that the day of the FTVLive's original report KDVR/KWGN GM Joan Barrett told M.E. Sean McGarvy to leave and take a few days to figure out what he wanted?

McGarvy did so and apparently he wanted nothing to do with Sinclair. A memo went out to the staff from the acting ND saying, "I wanted to let you know that Sean McGarvy no longer works here."

Boom!
