CNN Retracts Story
CNN took another hit to their their credibility, after the network had to retract a story that was posted on CNN's website.
CNN pulled a story from their website after questions were raised the accuracy of the story. The story was done by Thomas Frank of CNN's investigative unit.
CNN said that Congress was investigating a "Russian investment fund with ties to Trump officials."
Late last week, the story was pulled from CNN's website and replaced by an editor's note saying, "That story did not meet CNN's editorial standards and has been retracted. Links to the story have been disabled."
Now, you know when a story doesn't meet CNN's "editorial standards" it really must not be good.
CNN media critic Brian Stelter says, "The truth is, there's still a lot we don't know. On Saturday and Sunday I asked CNN PR for details and comment. A network spokeswoman declined to comment as of Sunday evening."
It's bad enough CNN took a hit to their already almost non-exhistant credibility, it's even worse when they won't answer questions from their own employees.
