NBC Getting Just What They Wanted

NBC along with its overpriced star Megyn Kelly are under the gun and that is the best thing that can happen for the network.

NBC has been busy promoting Kelly's interview with the tinfoil hat wearing Alex Jones (no relation). Jones is the host of Info Wars and is basically an unknown expect for the hard right that laps up what he has to say.

Jones thinks that Sandy Hook and Aurora shootings were nothing but hoaxes and they families of the dead children are just acting.

Why Megyn Kelly is giving this idiot a second of network airtime is the question that many are asking?

The answer is, Kelly needs a buzz to get ratings. Her first show out of the block featured and interview with Donald Trump's BFF Vladimir Putin and the show did not do as well as NBC had hoped for a debut.

Now, the Jones interview is bringing controversy to NBC and Megyn Kelly and both are loving it. This is the buzz that NBC needs to try and get Kelly's show off the ground.

NBC knows that controversy sells and they will gladly deal with the heat to get the eyeballs.

But, it appears that they did lose an advertiser, at least on a temporary basis. Word is that JP Morgan has NBC to yank their ads from Kelly's show and all NBC news programming until after the show airs.

JP Morgan boss Kristin Lemkau tweeted out: "As an advertiser, I’m repulsed that @megynkelly would give a second of airtime to someone who says Sandy Hook and Aurora are hoaxes."

But, you can bet that Lemkau will be watching, along with many others and that my friends is exactly what Megyn Kelly and NBC want.
