If you're keeping track of the GM changes in the industry, here's one to cross off. Scripps has hired a new GM for KSHB in Kansas City.

Steve Watt, currently VP/GM of WKRN in Nashville, is leaving to run the station in KC, MO. He's replacing Brian Bracco, who Scripps says is 'retiring', but Bracco seems to signal otherwise.

Watt started at WKRN in 2004 as a local sales manager, and continued to be promoted up to VP/GM.

We're guessing Watt can't get to KC fast enough since KRN is now owned by the Deathstar.
