You often hear about a TV Anchor that has passed away, but you don't often hear the story when it is someone behind the camera. 

Well, if it wasn't for the Photographers, TV would be radio. 

Sadly, one of those Photographers died suddenly this weekend. 

WOAI Photojournalist Eric Johnson died on Saturday.

Johnson was not seen on camera, but he was heard as the voice behind the station's “Road Cam” and it the station's chopper, during the morning commute.

Johnson never wanted to be in the spotlight, yet he was talented and passionate about his job and always humble.

The station reported on Johnson's passing on their newscast.
