Raycom Sacks 70 Just in Time for Christmas
FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that Raycom was swinging the budget ax at a number of their stations on Friday.
When the dust settled, about 70 people that worked for Raycom, we're no longer doing so.
One of those that caught the blade was longtime WAFF (Huntsville) Sports Anchor Scott Theisen (pictured).
Theisen joined the station in 1999 and despite being there so long, it took WAFF just seconds to remove his bio from the station's website.
Down at Raycom's WSFA in Montgomery, a number of people were pink-slipped, including a receptionist, janitor, and an administrative coordinator.
Happy holidays....
