Another Longtime Staffer Out at Tegna Station
The revolving door at KENS in San Antonio continues to spin.
Longtime Anchor Karen Grace has left the Tegna station.
“KENS accepted my resignation as of December 23,” Grace wrote in Facebook message. “(A) new chapter begins in 2018. Thank you to all my loyal viewers, friends and family. I appreciate all the supportive emails and messages during my ongoing medical leave.”
Grace has been missing from the air for months, telling viewers she was on leave from the station. Back then, she said she wouldn’t elaborate “for privacy sake,” but added: “KENS has been informed of my doctors orders.”
In another Facebook post, Grace said she was spending the holidays in Trinidad and Tobago with her godson.
KENS General Manager Tom Cury didn’t respond to email and phone messages inquiring about Grace’s resignation.
