KSAT (San Antonio) anchorwoman Isis Romero has given birth to a baby boy.
Romero is married to crosstown KENS Anchor Phil Anaya.
“Our family is incredibly happy and excited to announce the birth of our third son, Noel,” Romero wrote in an email. “Big brothers Elijah, 3, and Phillip, 1, are overjoyed to welcome a new sibling to the family. He arrived just in time for Christmas!”
Now, viewers in San Antonio will get to relive the birth on TV.
Noel’s birth will be featured on the second half of the anchor’s hour-long newsmagazine “Up Close” at 9 p.m. Dec. 28 on KSAT.
Romero explained that “Special Delivery” will focus on childbirth in San Antonio. “One of the aspects we look into is the rising rate of C-sections, and I tell my story as an example of how this is happening. Noel was my third Caesarean section,” Romero pointed out.
Can you do a C-section and pull out an Emmy?
