Nexstar's WIVB in Buffalo is going to tack on a 6:30PM newscast on sister station WNLO. 

The new newscast will go up against CBS Evening News which is Anchor by Jeff Glor. Glor is a Buffalo native and might night be happy to learn that his affiliate is trying to swipe some of his viewers.

Folks;
 
Today we are making two staff announcements and we’re happy to say they’re both internal.  Christy Kern and Dave Greber have been named as our anchor team for our new 630p newscast on WNLO starting January 15th.  In addition, Dave will be joining Christy to co-anchor the 4pm news on WIVB.
 
Christy has done a great job with the 4p newscast and Dave really shined filling in for Don during his recent medical leave.
