Word is that Fox News parent company, 21st Century Fox has been holding talks to sell most of the company to ABC's parent company Walt Disney.

Now, before you start to giggle at the thought of a show co-hosted by Sean Hannity and Geroge Stepanapolous, you should know that the sale would not include Fox Television, Fox News, Fox Business, Fox Sports or the Fox O&O's (sorry guys). 

CNBC says that the talks have taken place over the last few weeks and there is no certainty they will lead to a deal. The two sides are not currently talking at this very moment, but given the on again, off again nature of the talks, they could be revisited.

In addition to the movie studio, TV production and international assets such as Star and Sky, Disney would also add entertainment networks such as FX and National Geographic.

It should also be pointed out, if this deal happens, it was first predicted by the Simpson's years ago.
