Shit Found at Sinclair's Tulsa Station
Someone at Sinclair owned KTUL in Tulsa is using the bathroom and not washing their hands afterward.
How dod we know this?
Becuase the station did a sweeps piece about germs in the workplace and used their own newsroom as a test.
The station invited Dr. Mohamed Fakhr, an associate professor of Microbiology at the University of Tulsa, to come through the studio to swab for bacteria.
“It is very, very hard to get rid of bacteria. It is everywhere; it's everywhere,” said Fakhr.
They swabbed the newsroom where our assignment editors are busy dispatching crews to breaking news. They also took samples from the news studio where anchors sit and bring you the news every day.
After a week, the station got the results.
Fakhr said all in all, the station was not that bad, but he did have one exception.
He found E. coli, an indicator of fecal matter and bacteria.
“So, somebody basically someone didn't wash their hands after the restroom. That is the only explanation I can have,” said Fakhr.
The crap was found on the button that opens the door to exit our newsroom. The station says, "It's a button all of our photographers, reporters, anchors and producers touch on a daily basis."
I'm going to go out on a limb and blame a Photographer.
