DC Station Knocked off the Air This Morning
The news did not go on at Tegna owned WUSA in DC.
A water pipe burst inside the station and employees were evacuated as the problem is being dealt with.
The pipe that ruptured is near the control room and the newscast could not go on the air.
WUSA9's station/news manager, Michael Valentine says we anticipate being back to local programming by 9 a.m.
