Hastings NBC affiliate KHAS has now changed their call letters to KSNB and rebranded the news from KHAS-TV News 5, to “KSNB Local4.”

This should be worth at least 5 rating points in the November book. 

The station says that, "building on the proud tradition of KHAS-TV, Local4 reflects a renewed commitment to provide the most comprehensive local news, weather, and sports coverage for the cities of Grand Island, Hastings and Kearney."

“We asked our viewers what they want and we are listening. They want local news and local weather on Local4. So we’re clearing any content clutter and providing the latest from Grand Island, Hastings, and Kearney. That’s what we’re committed to delivering on a daily basis,” said Local4 Station Manager Alan Uerling.
