Yesterday morning at 6:30AM, FTVLive FIRST told you that KOVR main Anchor Sam Shane had gone missing from the station and his bio was gone from the station's website.

Hours after we posted the story, the Sacramento Bee did their own story (just a coincidence right?) that Shane was no longer at the station. 

The paper gave no credit to FTVLive and either will the blogs that pick up on the story Today or Tomorrow, But you guys know who lead the way. 

Anyway, the station decided not to renew Shane's contract. Insiders tell FTVLive that the two sides were negotiating, but the negotiations went south and the deal was dead. 

The station is now looking for a replacement. 

We would include a link to the Sacbee story, but why make it any easier for the other guys that just lift their stories from FTVLive? Plus, the Bee didn't give any credit to FTVLive, so screw them.
