Sources tell FTVLIve that struggling Meredith station WGCL (Atlanta) has hired former WAGA Anchor Gurvir Dhindsa.

Sources tell FTVLive that Dhindsa will be sitting next to Amanda Davis on the morning show at WGCL. Dhindsa left WAGA back in April of 2016. 

The awkward part?

It was Dhindsa replace Davis on WAGA's morning show.

Dhindsa will replace Bobby Kaple who left the station to run for Congress. 

Station insiders tell FTVLive that Vince Sims, who had been filling in for Kaple, was told he'd be filling at least until the end of the book. However, he learned of the change of plans via email when it was announced station wide that Dhindsa was hired.
 
Insiders say Davis also found out about the change in the same email while she was on vacation.
