Anchor Says Sorry After On-Air Comments

KOAT Weatherman Byron Morton caught some well-deserved heat after mocking some Native American dancers. 

Morton was commenting on the Native American dancers were in "crazy costumes" and it was "almost frightening".

Needless to say, it didn't take long for social media chime in on Morton's comments. 

Morton did later say he was sorry on social media. No word yet from KOAT's parent company Hearst, but remember, this is the same company that fired WTAE (Pittsburgh) Anchor Wendy Bell for posting racist comments to Facebook. 

You would expect that Hearst would take some sort of action against Morton for his on-air comments.
