Starting Today, WXXV in Biloxi-Gulfport will add a half-hour 5pm Newscast.
 
WXXV started news in September of 2013 with 5:30pm, 9pm and 10pm newscasts.

In 2015 they added a morning and Noon newscast.  Now they adding a 5PM newscast. 
 
"The key to our successful expansion has been the ability to cross-train Reporters to be able to Produce and Anchor," WXXV News Director Joe Sullivan tells FTVLive. "Last week when Hurricane Nate made landfall in Biloxi we had nine hours of wall to wall coverage without commercials. We informed viewers on-air and on-line before, during and after the storm to help keep them safe," he added.
