Back in July of 2016, longtime WCMH Weatherman Jym Ganahl announced that he was retiring. 

He had been at the NBC affiliate since 1979.  

A year and a half later he's coming back to the airwaves in Columbus, but he's doing so across the street. 

Tomorrow he starts at WSYX and the people at the Sinclair station seem to be excited by the news:
