WLOS (Asheville) Anchor Larry Blunt was out on a shoot and when he returned, the Sinclair station laid him off. 

FTVLive was the FIRST to tell you that Sinclair would be chopping bodies and Blunt was one of the victims. 

He had anchored the news at the station for the past 11 years and was one of the highest paid people in the newsroom. 

In these days and times that adds up to, "don't let the door hit you in the ass." 

This is all happening just before Sinclair is about to reporter their 4th quarter earnings which are expected to be at a record high.
