It seems that Tegna was falling behind Sinclair in the race of the companies pink slip express buses around the country. 

But, after taking a couple of days off, Tegna has fill up their pink slip express and took it out to Sacramento and KXTV. 

Sources tell FTVLive that KXTV Assistant ND Tim Wells caught the blade and  weekend Anchor Emily Pritchard (pictured) has also left the station. 

Tegna has been laying off people coast to coast.
