EP Sacked in Indy after Twitter Rant
Sources tell FTVLive that WRTV (Indianapolis) Executive Producer Brady Gibson, was fired last week after going on a twitter tirade against WTHR.
Gibson wanted to watch the NHL's Winter Classic between the St. Louis Blues and the Chicago Blackhawks, held outside at Bush Stadium in St. Louis.
Gibson is said to be a huge Blues fan and was really looking forward to the game.
But, during the game, WTHR squeezed the game back into a box and took the press conference for Indianapolis Colts Coach Chuck Pagano.
Word is that Gibson went on a rant at WTHR on Twitter.
The tweets have since been deleted but word is we went off on the station, and then started naming people at the station in his rant. This caused WTHR's GM to call WRTV and tell them to get him to stop.
Sources say that Gibson was fired when he returned to work from his holiday break.
