Sources tell FTVLive that WTSP News Director Bob Clinckingbeard escorted Chief Meteorologist Jim Van Fleet out of the station this afternoon. 

No one is saying why the popular weather Anchor was let go. 

Van Fleet has been with the Tegna station since 2011 and before that spent a decade in the Orlando market. 

His bio has been scrubbed from the station's website.
