If you're going to work in TV news, it is a good idea to have some sense of history. Even if it's just a little bit. 

Yesterday, there was a shooting in the parking garage of McCarran Airport in Las Vegas. Cops say it was domestic dispute and as suspect has been arrested. 

While the story was breaking, a viewer made a poor joke on social media. But, the real joke was KVVU's reply to the guy.

We will bet $5 that the person that the Fox 5 staffer that tweeted this reply is a millennial. 

I can assure you, if the viewer joked that he saw, "Kim Kardashian pull the trigger", the Fox 5 staffer would have known he was kidding.
