Sources tell FTVLive that one Motown Assistant News Director is out. 

Word is that WXYZ Assistant News Director Barb Roethler is gone from the station after 6+ years.

Roethler came to WXYZ after 8 years across the street at WDIV. Insiders say there has been a lot of turn over under News Director Rhonda LaVelle. 

LaVelle joined the Scripps station 5 months ago from KPRC in Houston.
