Fire Them Now!

Speaking of someone that should be fired. How about the news crew from ABC's Good Morning America?

FTVLive told you on Friday, ABC News Reporter Linsey Davis did a live report in front of what appeared to be a crime scene in South Carolina ... where a woman had allegedly been held captive in a storage container by a sex offender.

It appears that Davis was standing at an active crime scene, but the crime scene tape was just a TV prop to make it look like she was in front of the real crime scene. .

You can clearly see the in a picture from WSPA that the  yellow tape was tied to production equipment to give the illusion Davis was reporting right from the scene of the investigation. The segment aired on "Good Morning America."

ABC News is placing the blame on the field producer -- saying, "As soon as it was brought to our attention, we decided to take the producer out of the field, and we're investigating further."
"This action is completely unacceptable and fails to meet the standards of ABC News," ABC News' VP of Communication said in a statement.

Forget the Field Producer, every ABC staffer on the scene needs to be fired over this. This is a network news crew we're talking about here. This is not market 190.

Davis even tweeted video of the story on her Twitter feed. ABC has since deleted the video.

This was a blatant attempt to deceive the viewer and Davis, the Field Producer, the Photographer and anyone else on the scene for ABC News should all be kicked to the curb.

The idea that ABC is trying to pin this on just one person makes it even worse.

Shame on ABC News if they don't step up and do the right thing.
