Media General/Nexstar just announced a new ND.

Dan Salamone, most recently at "The Firm's" WFLD in Chicago, is the new ND at WTEN/WXXA in Albany. The gig has been open since September when Matt Miller left to go to Scripps as a recruiter.

Salamone only lasted about a year at WFLD, and the run was a little rocky. He left in July.

Then again, working for Nexstar is usually rocky.
