Emergency Alert Aired on NY Station Day Before Train Crash
OK...this one is strange....
The night before the Hoboken train crash, WKTV in Utica, New York had their newscast interrupted by a bizarre and unsettling Emergency Alert System warning mentioning trains.
But the warning was very vague and used a line from Dr. Suess.
After the EAS warning, WKTV took to twitter to say that it was a technical glitch and there was no warning.
The next day...guess what?
Train Crash. On September 29th, a New Jersey Transit train crashed in Hoboken, killing one person and injuring more than 100.
