I will admit, I hated working election night at the station. 

Yes there was free pizza, but by the time I got to it, it was like pineapple, banana, anchovies pizza that was left and there was no way I was going to eat that. The guys from engineering that never set foot in the newsroom, unless there was free food, always ate up the good pizza before I had a chance. 

I'm not a political junkie and to be honest, election night just bored the hell out of me. But, it was a long day and at least I was able to rack up some overtime. 

That does not seem to be the case anymore. 

FTVLive obtained an internal memo sent out to the staff at WRTV in Indianapolis, where the station is looking for election night volunteers. 

Volunteers? What happened to getting paid?

Next thing your going to tell me, no pizza either. What is the world of TV news coming to?
