There are numerous reports that AT&T is in advanced talks to acquire Time Warner.  Time Warner is reportedly looking for $90 per share.

This move by AT&T comes a little more than two years after they acquired DirecTV for $48 billion. This would create a massive media company with AT&T adding HBO, Cinemax, CNN and Turner Broadcasting.

Two years ago, Rupert Murdoch made a run at Time Warner for $85 per share.

Sources say a deal could be reached over the weekend.
