Roberts GMA Return May have put ABC Over the Top

The ratings race between NBC's Today Show and ABC's Good Morning Americ has been very tight this ratings book.

The two morning shows were neck and neck in the ratings.​

Roberts return to GMA was the elbow bump that the network needed.​

Roberts return pulled in 6.1 million viewers. That made the morning show's most watched program since the morning after the 2012 presidential election.

The Today Show brought in a total of 4.933 million viewers.
